Food for Thought
To bring women, men and children to their knees,
To beg and pray that their prayers and cries
would be heard in the dark moments of
despair and depression.
Of violence and abuse of their dignity to
a Human Right to a life of Joy and a home of Peace.
To hold a cup in the hope it would be filled with water,
to quench their thirst and food for thought and survival.
Or lie in wait for the tiger to ravage and tear the very clothes,
from your back and walk naked and cold.
