He fell in Love with Darkness Se enamoró de la oscuridad

I have chosen this photo today …

He would sit,

Take a deep breath,
Close his eyes,
For a moment everything would be dark and silent,
A heart beat beneath the layers,
As he treasured the silent darkness,
Letting the light,
Slowly penetrate the essence of his soul,
Trying to evade the darkness he once knew,
As he remembered their disfigured souls crying out for help,
A horror movie, of rotten flesh,
Sunken eyes, and dismembered body parts,
Riddled with crawling creatures,
That filled the crevices of their lives,
Even when the sun they once knew shone brightly in the night sky,
Unrecognisable, repulsive, a devilish,
Walking dead, senseless, speechless,
Over powered by their love of darkness,
The lightning strikes, the flashes of light,
That engulfed the room,
Expanding, alive and living,
Don’t forget to switch the light on,
Or let the moon brighten the empty spaces,
He fell in love with darkness …
