Betrayal

I chose the cover of this book today …

“Let the everlasting drops of blood stain the table and the water wash away the bitter taste of betrayal…” Natasha

The story continues…

A cowardly act of violence,

Their blood lines met,

Their values lost,

Joining the family patterns of their past,

Set on a cross,

Sealed with desire,

Not able to face the truth,

Shying away from their deceit,

She sold her family name and soul to a dark act of religion,

He sold his family name and soul to an act of betrayal,

Together they conspired,

As they listened, watched, followed,

Delivering violence,

Hiring the demons of their minds,

To control, belittle, humiliate,

Their family names,

As they cowardly hid,

Behind closed doors,

How many pieces of silver,

Would they throw to the children,

How many words of encouragement,

How many acts of kindness,

How many listening moments,

How many embraces of Love,

How many thoughts of Peace,

Betrayal and cowardly acts …

Let them cry,

Let them scream,

Let them fall to the floor,

Let them go hungry,

Let them find water,

Let them walk the streets,

Let them sleep in the cold,

Let them loose self-esteem,

Let them forget confidence,

Let them feel fear,

Let them remember the betrayal,

The values and virtues neither could give,

As the heavens opened, a family door to safety,

They were safe rescued as each one was …

Valued as being empathetic,

focused,

independent,

industrious,

kind,

mature,

observant and

pensive in the face of betrayal.

enfocados,
independientes,
industriosos,
Simpatia,
maduros,
observadores y
Pensativos ante la traición.
