As a child we weren’t able to buy books and going to the library was an adventure in itself and a day out.
So from a young age I would make up stories to tell my younger sisters and cousins.
Normally, something, we take for granted for those who can read, or speak different languages to be able to tell their children stories.
In the summer we would visit our grandparents in northern Spain, which cultivated my passion to be able to speak to people in their mother tongue.
I enjoyed listening to my grandfather’s stories over lunch and translating to my sisters.
Later, when I was able to write, this gave me an opportunity to challenge the brightest boy in our class.
Did I have a chance? The small girl with foreign parents?
It was an opportunity to hand write an entire book, stories and drawings, no limits to our imagination or creativity were the rules set by our teacher.
At the end of the wonderful adventure, it had been decided, we both had taken great care, love, attention and detail, we both won the prize one, for each of us.

When I became a mother this was something I could share with my children, as I carefully selected the stories to share with them. Some of course, became our favourites and would be read again and again.
Sometimes made up stories to help them with their own challenges. Eventually, little did I realise that later in life I would write more books.

My publishing company had selected my book, there were no costs, marketing, printing. Again, another open door to leave a memory of stories to be read.
This time through the different relationships we have and people we meet who allow us to learn, grow and destroy limiting beliefs we have about ourselves which cause pain, love hate relationships.
Can this be compared to a Tony Robbins or Brendan Burchard Book? Or maybe a Jack Canfield? Or Roger Hamilton?
I’m not a businessman, yet I have worked with many entrepreneurs, and worked beside them, supported men and the father of our children to be successful.
Many are suffering mental health issues, trying to recover from loss, grief, and broken hearts, careers and homes.
So many are still caught in a dark place of depression, holding on to things which cause pain.
As Charles Darwin said
When we have a big enough Why we will step up to the challenge, as millions of people flee their homes and communities of violence, aggression and abusive behaviours.
My Why are the three gifts given to me and which is Why, I had to step out and face the challenge, into the unknown and discover what I learnt from the patterns of families and relationships.
Are we able to walk away from everything we’ve built an entire lifetime? You will have to read it to find out.
