Frozen Congelado

Frozen like a pain of glass,

Covered in tear drops,

The scars of her childhood,

A teacher sent from heaven,

To love every child,

The unbroken memories,

The bloody blows,

The drunken words,

Careless, thoughtless,

Dumb to the cries of his daughter,

Together we broke the frozen glass,

Melted and put out the fire,

Buried behind her frozen window,

As she looked me in the eyes,

The never-ending tear drops from heaven.

To wash away the pain …
