His dreams of a happy home,
Shattered as the tear drops,
Covered his empty green bottle life,
Left with three small babies,
An outcast, left in the backyard,
A small curtain draped over his home,
As he hobbled with one leg,
As he searched with his beautiful big brown eyes for an end to his pain,
A lover of the open seas,
A Fisherman,
The seas had been rough,
The demands of his time,
Nearly hunchback from the strain,
Just one more day,
Just one more moment of sunshine,
On the open seas …
Granted
