We have a choice every day to be connected,
We have a choice every day to connect,
Be it social media, the telephone, email, or in person,
Our connectedness with ourselves in self-reflection,
Our connectedness with nature,
Our connectedness with feelings,
Our connectedness with emotions,
Our connectedness with thoughts,
Our connectedness with actions.
We can connect or disconnect,
We can open or closed the door,
We can listen or not listen,
We can see or not see,
We can think or not think,
We can do or not do,
Our story does not define us but our actions will …
Take a moment and find a moment of Universal Peace,
Connect and disconnect from the negativity,
That roars through the streets.
