A Journey of Tears

How do you explain to a baby,

They don’t have a home,

Was it the colour of their skin?

How do you explain to a baby,

Only dogs are allowed, no babies.

How do you explain to a 4 year old?

That they don’t want to play,

Was it they looked foreign?

How do you explain to an 11 year old,

Was it that they came from a different culture?

How do you explain to an 18 year old,

Was it that they came from a different traditions?

How do you explain to a 25 year old,

Was it their nationality?

How do you explain to a person …

By walking the journey of tears?

By letting the pages soak up,

The sadness,

The conflicts,

The disappointments,

The brutal words,

The thoughtless actions,

The deceitful acts of wickedness.

Self-awareness is a great healer.

Life is for living,

We didn’t come to make others cry,

My job is to make you smile,

Enjoy The Power of Words,

Enjoy Rise it’s time to believe in You …
