When a child is abused,

When a child doesn’t understand,

Bullying a with a pair of scissors,

Throwing a chair at a teacher,

Calling their friend names,

Pushing and shoving is the way forward,

Belittling the child who is different,

Contaminating the school environment.

A toxic environment filled with a cloud of darkness,

As each one breathes in the air,

Suffocating and draining the life of a child.

As they grow up with insecurities,

Lack of self worth and self esteem,

Crushed, the heavy weight of constant pain,

Feet, knees, back, fingers, arms, hands, stomach, head,

Their back-pack filled with the silent emotions,

Anxious, Angry, Depressed, Fear, Hate,

We can be a catalyst of change,
