Today is Reading Fun Week and Dia de Las Madres
The greatest love is the story of a mother’s love for her children. As the owner of a private hospital decided he should try and save my life after giving birth to my first son.
The loving attention I received at the birth of my second son as he said “everything will be alright, the same is not going to happen to you again I promise” as I lay crying on the operating table as the fear and tears just kept on flowing.
As the burning excruciating pains were overwhelming at the birth of my daughter, “oh dear, she can feel everything, not enough analgesic.”
I have always loved reading to my children and it was a sacred time. I would search for a story which always had a reason to help them understand some things I was not able to explain.
The love of a mother is never ending and ever lasting, as I was blessed with 3 gifts of sunshine, each one so different, unique and special.
Words captured in a book so they will always remember that they are truly loved and cared for.
God bless my children Daniel, Oliver and Isabela for the love they gave, the smile they brought and the memories which will last a lifetime, as they shared a book they made for me.
