International Children’s 20 November

The greatest gift I have been given are my 3 children. I am sure most parents would say the same.

Not the children who I met many years ago, they had been left in social services, abandoned by their families or having to escape violence and abuse. Left frightened unsure of their future and what would be next.

Each one needing a loving word, motivation, attention and to inspire them to achieve greater things in their life.

“If only their tears were tears of joy. With more than 1billion children suffering in silence all around the World.”

As a mum my gift are my books and words to make them Smile.

Gift a child a book and remind them they are Special each and every day.

I decided to rise to the challenge of writing after listening to mums who as children had been beaten until they bled, lost their self esteem and confidence in themselves, were hurt by traumatic events.
