Have you ever thought that you can leave a Legacy of Memories to be cherished and shared?
I never imagined as a mum I would be writing but had to rise to the challenge after witnessing how many dear friends had suffered at the hands of violence and abuse when they were children. Left with scars, open wounds and their self esteem touching the floor.
As a mum, therapist and author, it was a moment to find the words each child would need to hear, read and see to rise from the depths of repetitive hypnotic destructive behaviours, actions, thoughts and words.
Believing they were worthless, useless and would never amount to any thing their life.
There are numerous ways to leave a Legacy of Memories to be captured in a book for your family to enjoy. You might even want to create a picture book, a podcast or even a digital book.
Nothing is impossible even for a man in his later years with the passion of sharing his stories.
The excitement of having someone fill the blank pages as he dictated chapter by chapter until he could hold his book in his hand.
It’s was wonderful opportunity to see him smile and to know even with a life threatening illness he could accomplish his dream and leave a Legacy of Memories.
