Building Blocks of Love All Year Round

How many children don’t feel loved? Maybe an adult who now has found they never received these words., never felt loved, nurtured or cared for.

From the lonely father who resorted to drowning his sorrows until they floated away into oblivion.

From the mother who was struck time and time again by violent blows and hurled with blades of abuse.

From the school teacher who through abusive parents found her self overwhelmed by the trauma of childhood. She no longer could move.

How many are behind closed doors? Keeping silent, some self-harming, others falling into depression and anxiety..

How many feel frightened to speak up, to say how they feel? When they only hear the anger penetrate their souls.

How many remember the disappointments of empty promises sucking away the very breath of life.

How many felt they were never strong enough, clever enough to accomplish their dreams.

How many were bullied into a corner that their opinions didn’t matter. The confidence to say enough is enough. To value who they are with all the talents and God given gifts they have been given.
