THE POWER OF WORDS …

“Luisa Natasha Parker’s Moment of Reflection series is an exhilarating 20-day series where you focus on a different word each day. Her writing is poetic, loving and empowering. I recommend this book to anyone who needs more joy, love and positive encouragement in your life. ”

-Dr. Steve G. Jones, Ed.D International No.1 Clinical Hypnotherapist

“Impressive work Natasha, I already feel more relaxed and happier”.

– Matt Tompkins – Principal / CEO Gems FirstPoint School

“Words are the language of our minds. We often think in words. In this sense language is the software of our mind. What if the words themselves influence our thinking? Could the words we think with actually change the way we think? The Power of Words is beautifully written by Luisa Natasha Parker and helps bring greater consciousness and awareness to our choice of words. The focus is to choose the uplifting words that best help raise self esteem and nourish the power within. I recommend this book to anyone to create a more positive mind.”

– Simon Brown, Macrobiotic and Feng Shui Author, Teacher and Consultant

THE POWER OF POETRY RISE IT’S TIME TO BELIEVE IN YOU …

“Luisa Natasha Parker’s The Power of Poetry book encourages daily reflection. Her poems and words are empowering and inspirational. I recommend this book for everyone who is seeking self-awareness.”

–Dr. Steve G. Jones, International No.1 Clinical Hypnotherapist

“When we read in language, we begin to form the words, phrases and sentences that we will use to express ourselves and think in. Our thoughts are shaped by the words we use to think. At a young age when we our minds are forming, we are highly influenced by language and the patterns, or way of thinking, that will build upon our early reading. Affirmative, constructive, creative language helps create a mind with similar qualities. It is therefore such a blessing to have this beautifully worded book available for young and old to explore, try out and play with words.”

–Simon Brown, Author, Teacher and Consultant in Macrobiotics, Feng Shui and Face Reading.

“In these times people need a comforting word which Natasha’s book provides through poetry.”

–Victor A Vargas Vega International Consultant on applied Neuroscience

THE SOCIETY OF ORDINARY PROPHETS AND POETS

The Society of Ordinary Prophets and Poets is a skilfully constructed journey of reflection. The author has layered emotional responses to cleverly crafted stimulus. Your own attachment to the words is deeply personal. The opportunity to respond to your feelings within the book allows you to quickly re-count and re-visit the path you take through the book.I would highly recommend this book to support self-reflection. Our lives are often complex and at times confusing, this compilation facilitates the finding of clarity. Thank you Natasha, this is a gift that we will all cherish.

– Matt Tompkins – Principal / CEO Gems FirstPoint School

“How wonderful! SO refreshing to see someone TRULY think about what is needed by children after the long day at school whilst at the same time reflecting what hard work and energies parents and adults put into helping and providing for them.

My favourite lines are

As we remember the tiresome, Dedication, hard work all outstanding teachers would hate to think of what they encourage as tiresome but the reality is that for many learners it will be – that’s why it is important to remember to keep our lessons creative, to focus on the bigger picture and encourage those moments of self-reflection and the WHY we are learning/doing/making.

Take a moment and close your eyes, take a deep breath in and out and remember a time when you faced a challenging moment and decided you just needed that moment of creativity to sing, to dance, to paint, to play to the rhythm of your favourite melody and to feel fully alive and engaged. – we all need this as human beings. I used to do a lot of brain-break activities in my lessons and this has reminded me of the need for them. And of the need for me to switch on the creative side of my brain too.

Words are extremely powerful things – harnessing the power of what we say to ourselves is just as important as what we say to others. This book will help children – and the supervising adult – do just that.

Thank you for sharing this. What a treat.

Kind regards,

Siobhan
