The Stories of Mentors in Business

image

Let me  me tell you a story about a man …

Who had the courage to share a story about his life and what was important and should be for every man who is blessed with a child, a life to cherish and mentor, guide and help them to grow to become Leaders who make a difference in our Communities, Towns and Countries.

No.1 Best Seller New York Times, The Entrepreneurs Solution, Mel H. Abraham.

When his son was six, he had a wake up call. He saw the image of who he had become as the years had passed by a picture his son had drawn especially for him. A single father who would have to make a decision, which changed the life he had been living and to make sure he was beside his son every step of the way.  I congratulated him, now his son is 27 years old and the expression on his face was one of confidence, self worth and self esteem?

It is important to remember Abraham Maslows Hierarchy of needs outlined by Andy Harrington in his  No1 Best Seller – The Sunday Times.

Physiological needs,

Safety  & health,

Love/Belonging,

Esteem,

Self-Actualisation

How many of us can put our hand on our heart and truthfully say we are incorporating all these into the lives of our children or at least trying our very best?

From all the complaints I have read today from different sources, people complaining about childhood, their parents, how they hated them, abuse, violence, etc …

Every day we have an opportunity to change and incorporate new ideas into our lives to pass on to our children.  Cherish Life and Lives.
